Former child star Camille Prats has lovely family and a son named Nathaniel Caesar Lansangan. She gave birth to another child on Sept. 22, 2017, named Nala Camilla Yambao. In a previous report, it was stated that Camille wanted a “simple baptism” for her daughter.

The actress revealed through an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal her motivations for the baptism.

She says:

“It’s gonna be held this December kasi gusto ko bago mag-Christmas, nabinyagan na siya. Simple lang, we want to spend it with just really close family and friends.”

“Hindi naman magarbo, but it’s going to be a celebration kasi maraming hindi nakakakita sa kanya na close friends namin. So it’s also the time for them to meet her.”

She also explained the unique name of her daughter. Camille continued:

“Nala means beloved, so that’s what I wanted. And her second name is Camilla, which is from my name naman. Kasi I wanted to name her after me somehow kasi I never thought I’d have a baby girl. Parang hindi yun yung isa sa mga naisip ko para sa sarili ko so she’s really a special gift for me.”

Now, in a recent report by ABS-CBN News, Camille and her husband christened Nala Camilla Yambao under Catholic rites over the weekend.

The christening happened on the Christ the King Parish in Quezon City. Family and close friends of the couple attended the ceremony. The pictures of the event were shared by Pauleen Luna-Sotto, who is close friends with Camille.

Baby Nala Camilla Yambao was attired in the required baptismal gown with an accentuating metallic crown on her head. Indeed, nothing was too much for the couple’s special little girl. This is not a surprise since Nala is the first-ever daughter of Camille, which makes her the unica hija.
