BOSSING VIC SOTTO PINAALAM KUNG PAANO NIYA ALAGAAN ANG BABY NILA NI PAULEEN LUNA!

Baby Talitha Maria Sotto will be baptized on Sunday, December 10. The news was shared by proud Dad Vic Sotto before the presscon proper of his MMFF 2017 entry Meant to Beh held at Annabel's restaurant on Tuesday, December 5. "Yeah, after one month, pabibinyagan namin agad para mailabas na makapagpasyal-pasyal na," Vic told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

Vic's wife Pauleen gave birth to Talitha via Cesarean section a month ago on November 6, three weeks before her due date. "Ang birthday niya ay November 6. Medyo napaaga nga, e," Vic said. "Dapat ang due date, it’s either last week of November or first week of December, atat nang lumabas," 

BEING A NEW DAD AGAIN. Danica and Oyo, Vic's children with his first wife Dina Bonnevie, now have their own families. Paulina, his daughter with former actress Angela Luz, got married in January this year. Vico, Vic's son with former actress Coney Reyes, is still single, and is currently a councilor of Pasig City. 

It has been more than 20 years since Vic has cared for an infant, and he admitted to feeling a big change at this point in his life.  "Parang naninibago ako, e," he revealed. "Ang tagal-tagal ko nang walang kasamang sanggol na umiiyak sa madaling araw, e. "Actually hindi siya umiiyak. Suwerte nga namin ni Pauleen dahil hindi siya umiiyak, ano lang siya puro paramdaman."

Vic said while it is mostly Pauleen who is in charge of caring for Baby Talitha, he does his share of parenting duties in any way he can. "Kasi hindi madaling maging nanay lalo na yung ganyang infant," Vic explained. "For the next three months medyo talagang hands-on ka, 24 hours kang nagbabantay kasi hindi mo naman nakakausap yung baby, e."

But he still knows when a baby is in distress. "Pag umungol 'yan, 'Ano bang gusto mo? Gutom ka ba? Ikaw ba ay kinakabag? Nagpupupu ka ba? Nagwiwi ka ba?' "It’s not an easy job being a mother. Hindi naman sya yung tipong sa yaya pa ipagagawa."

Vic continued, "Most of the time si Pauleen ang nag-aalaga. "Pagka yung gusto lang niyang umidlip at puyat, [andun ako]. Siyempre every hour, every two hours, at this point, dumidede yun. "Yun lang naninibago ako at suwerte naman, hindi iyakin. Pag gutom medyo nagpaparamdam lang yun, 'Ahhm, ehem-ehem,' gumagano'n lang yun. "Madaling magpalit ng lampin ngayon dahil puro tape-tape lang, e. Hindi katulad noong araw na talagang na kinu-cross mo pa, perdible, may mga bigkis pa nga noong araw, e."

Vic is all praises for Pauleen as a first-time mom. "She’s hands-on talaga," Vic said of his wife.  "Alam mo naman yun ang talagang inaasam-asam niya, e. "Dream niyang maging nanay kasi mahilig kasi sa bata si Pauleen. 'Eto natupad na ang isa sa mga pangarap niya. "Tuwang-tuwa naman ako, I’m really proud of her. I think she will be very good mom."
