It seems like it’s not just Maine Mendoza’s loyal fans who are missing her a lot, but also veteran showbiz gossip columnist Lolit Solis. Solis recently revealed something about the phenomenal actress on Instagram.

Lolit Solis claimed that Maine’s massive fame could be attributed to the fact that she has such a kind family. She started her post by saying:

“Iyon mommy Maine Mendoza mabait talaga kasi everytime nakakasabay ko siya sa parlor Bambbi Fuentes binabati niya ako kahit mga kapatid Maine. At isang bagay na appreciate ko kahit hindi naman ako kilala yaya Dub iyon bang for 3 years now nakakatanggap ako ng gift mula sa kanila thru Grace of Anabels na ang may ari yata ay bff ng mommy ni yaya Dub.”

She went on to say: “Iyon iba ngang reporter nagtataka kung bakit nabigyan sila di naman sila kilala Maine , siguro dahil na rin sa mother niya na very friendly at mabait.” The talk show host concluded that Maine Mendoza’s kin was instrumental in her popularity. She also expressed her thanks to Maine’s mother. She wrote:

“So itanong mo Salve kung ano isa sikreto ng pagiging sikat ni Maine Mendoza? Iyon pamilya niya, nasa background but helping out for her PR di bah? Pag mabait mga miyembro family mo, dagdag iyon sa tagumpay mo. Thank you mommy Dub, really appreciate it.”

Previously, following the controversy surrounding Maine’s open message for her fans, many people claimed that the phenomenal loveteam dubbed by fans as ‘AlDub’ has finally met its end. However, Lolit Solis argued against this in an earlier IG post. She believes that both Maine and her on-screen partner, Alden Richards, are talented enough that they can overcome these difficulties. She wrote:

“Sa nagaganap na controversy ngayon kay Maine Mendoza atAlden Richards inaakala ng marami na malaki magiging epekto nito sa loveteam ng dalawa , tutoo apektado ang loveteam , pero individually I think both Maine and Alden will survive this. Both of them will shine brighter, at mapapatunayan na may mga solid fans sila as solo stars.makikita mo both are talented, both professionals, wala ako narinig na pintas sa ugali nila pareho.”

Lolit Solis also advised the AlDub nation to refrain from dwelling too much on the issue and to think of it as a challenge for Maine and Alden’s growth as individuals. “I feel hinog na sila pareho to fly on their own, I predict a good career for both of them, do not write finish sa Aldub, who Knows ito iyon test for them To really know their worth, tingnan natin ang lalo pa nilang paglaki, dont despair.”
