British designer Debbie Wingham is known as one of the world’s “most expensive designers” to date. She started her career in fashion at the young age of 13, where she initially worked in wardrobe departments of school productions. Since then, the designer has reached the top of her career and even appeared in “Britain’s Next Top Model” as a judge.

According to Philippine Entertainment Portal, Debbie caught the public’s attention when she created what is now considered the world’s “most expensive pair of shoes.” Based on the report, it costs around $15.1 million or PHP 765,992,000. It is made out of gold, with embellished diamonds in platinum and adorned with Arabian Jasmin flowers.

The zipper and the plaque found beneath the shoes are said to be made out of pure gold. The shoes were stitched together with an 18-carat gold thread while the leather coating was painted with a 24-carat gold liquid.

Each pair has large pink and blue diamonds that reportedly cost more than $13 million or PHP 659.5 million. Meanwhile, three-carat white diamonds and 1,000 pointer diamonds serve as the intricate frame of each shoe.

Debbie Wingham worked with Chris Campbell to achieve the stunning pair of shoes. Campbell is a contemporary artist based in Florida in the United States.

It was reported that Debbie also created the world’s “most expensive dress” in 2013. The dress cost at a staggering $15.45 million or PHP 783,747,600!

It was designed with 2,000 stones that included white, black, and pointer diamonds all set in platinum. The dress also had a red diamond that cost around $7.4 million or PHP 375.4 million.

Debbie Wingham also impressed the world when she created the world “most expensive cake” in 2015. It was for the birthday and engagement party of an Arab’s daughter.

The six-foot cake amounted to $64 million or PHP 3.2 billion, while its weight was around 1,000 pounds. The concept of the extravagant cake was inspired by a runway fashion show that was filled with 4,000 diamonds.

Due to her luxurious creations, Debbie Wingham has devotees in the entertainment industry like Kate Winslet and Hilary Swank.
