At this point, you’ve probably seen the latest Belo Medical Group billboard along EDSA featuring veteran journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas. Even if you haven’t seen it in all its gigantic glory, surely you’ve seen photos of it spreading like wildfire on social media. “The news never looked this good,” the ad says. A visibly slimmer and tanner Korina Sanchez graces the jaw-dropping billboard. Most noticeably, her face looked much thinner. The 53-year-old broadcast journalist shocked netizens with her surprise transformation.

Some netizens were skeptical and went as far as to call the ad out for using too much Photoshop. Some netizens, however, were more appreciative of Korina’s new look.

In a video Korina Sanchez posted on Instagram, however, she proved that Photoshop was not to blame – only the astounding work of the Belo Medical Group.

It wasn’t just cosmetic procedures that shaped Korina’s new look, she has actually been on a fitness journey to lose weight, already losing 15 pounds in the process. She just needed Belo’s help to defy gravity.

She explained it all on Instagram:

“People who haven’t seen me in a while or maybe haven’t started following me on IG or FB are wondering aloud: HOW DID SHE GET THAT THIN? How did her face get that small? Well, there are no shortcuts to getting fit. You just have to watch what you eat. To get toned you have to exercise. And that’s what I did. Lost 15 lbs and I purposely got darker. I like to be tanned. So, now, with the weight loss, my face is “da sky is falling”, gravity beckons. What to do??? Stay tuned. At 7:30 pm I’ll be posting the three step simple, painless and non-surgical process I did with Belo that made my face shrink from large to small!”

In the comments section of Korina’s post, her fellow celebrities expressed how impressed they were with the seasoned journalist’s transformation. 

Actor-TV host Paolo Ballesteros, beauty queen Miriam Quiambao, famous designers Michael Cinco and Mark Bumgarner, dancer-actress Samantha Lopez, and ex-actress Krista Ranillo all had nothing but good things to say about Korina Sanchez’s new look.

Cristalle Belo, the daughter of Dr. Vicki Belo, told the Belo Medical Group’s latest endorser that she was truly the right choice for the billboard.
