MARK ANTHONY FERNANDEZ NAG SALITA NA TUNGKOL SA KANYANG UMANOY PAGKAKABUNTIS NIYA SA DALAWANG PULIS!

After over a year of imprisonment for the possession of marijuana, actor Mark Anthony Fernandez was finally released from Pampanga Provincial Jail in San Fernando, Pampanga on December 22, 2017 “due to procedural breaches committed by Angeles cops in handling the evidence against [him].”

However, gaining his freedom was bittersweet for the ’90s matinee idol as rumors of him impregnating two female police officers while imprisoned soon spread like wildfire. According to ABS-CBN, the actor admitted that he heard about these rumors when they went viral.

A picture which showed the Mark Anthony posing with two female cops fueled the rumors. However, Mark Anthony has since addressed the speculation surrounding him in an interview with ABS-CBN. The actor said with conviction:

“I was a victim of fake news.”

The actor even jested, “Sana po totoo, pero hindi po totoo. Ang gaganda po, e. Ang gaganda po nila. They’re not even my acquaintance. It’s not true. They were beautiful.”

When asked about how it feels to be a victim of fake news, he quipped, “I was just saying the word na sana nga totoo. Pero ‘di totoo e. They were beautiful. Hi! Hello!”

The 39-year-old actor was arrested in Pampanga in October 2016 after an estimated one kilo of marijuana was found in his car.

With a clean slate, he is determined to once again be in the limelight. Mark Anthony Fernandez has reportedly signed a contract with Viva Artists Agency. The contract signing included the presence of his mother, Alma Moreno, and Viva executives Veronique del Rosario and agency founder, Vic del Rosario.

After the contract signing, Mark revealed the lesson that stuck with him after his arduous journey.

“I learned that you always have to have connection with God, because there were days before and nights that I would sleep without praying to Him. But now I believe I should pray to him every day, every single day.”
