Cops saved this newborn squirrel and let it reunite with its mom! Often times, cops are underestimated by people. Most of the locals tend to think that cops care less about the little things around them. They tend to believe that cops only care about humans.

However, this story about cops and a squirrel will change how you see cops. Cops aren’t just helping out their locals but they also the animals. In fact, in this story, a group of British cops on burglary were on patrol when they came across something interesting on the road.

While they were working, they came across a little pink creature on the road and once they got closer, they realized that it was a poor baby squirrel. The poor squirrel was lost and left all alone in the road. Instead of leaving the baby squirrel, they decided to fend for himself and see how they could help it survive.

According to the cops, the squirrel must have been dropped while his mother was carrying him from one nest to another. The little creature needs his mom to properly survive and so the authorities have decided to do something to reunite with his mom.

The officers then put on gloves to approach the little creature.

According to the Hackney Police Twitter account: “The problem solving team found a lost baby squirrel today, safely reunited with its Mother. Not what you normally find on burglary patrols!”

It wasn’t disclosed how they were able to reunite the lost baby to its mother but what’s important is, the cops were able to save its life.
