Sorry to burst your bubble, but the customer isn’t always right. Even though they provide the money to make the business run, sometimes they cross the line between what’s right and what’s inappropriate. Just like this arrogant passenger who was put in his place by a jeepney driver.


Earlier this week, a viral video uploaded by Val Cordial on Facebook made the rounds online. The short clip showed the arrogant behavior of a passenger towards a jeepney driver in broad daylight. Cordial was one of the passengers of the jeepney who witnessed the dispute unravel.


“Ito si kuya sa unahan nagagalit sa driver kasi hindi sa harapan nya itinigil yung e-jeep na naging reason para maglakad sya ng mga 5steps para dun sa unahan makaupo .. ayan tuloy nag init ulo ng ibang mga pasahero sa kanya.”


Based on what we’ve gathered from Cordial’s post, the passenger was infuriated because the jeepney driver was unable to stop directly in front of him. Apparently, the five steps the arrogant passenger had to take to board the jeepney were too much for him that he decided to take out his frustrations on the jeepney driver.


During their heated exchange, the driver was defending himself while other passengers chimed in to support him. However, the arrogant passenger remained unfazed and was even heard saying: “Ibang klase ka rin kuya. Customer ako ganyan ang ugali mo.” The passenger’s inappropriate behavior in the video infuriated netizens as much as it infuriated his co-passengers.
