Recently, Eat Bulaga host and actress Maine Mendoza posted an open letter on her Twitter account expressing her deepest emotions. According to Maine, it seems like she was living her world in a box. She even said on her Twitter post that she was wondering whether she was made by God or was she made by her fans. It seems like she is being suffocated with her apparent fame, and fans were there seemingly dictating all what she has to do and what she should not do. Her world is easing in inside the very four corners of the TV screen, and Maine felt like she was held captive in her own show.

On the twitter post, Maine called out to her fans [and bashers] to give her a moment of silence, a time to breathe, or perhaps freedom to live her life the way she wants it.

“I am grateful to have all of you who have walked this path with me. But I need to be honest, I am at this point where I feel like I live in a box. I have not been able to do what I want and say what I feel because every time I try to express my thoughts and feelings, some of you tend to misapprehend and invalidate them in so many ways,” Maine said on a lengthy open letter dedicated for her fans.

She makes it a point on how people are judging her and basically dictating her what she should do, and how she should react. And some are even saying that she should not be feeling that way because she has everything a person could ever wish for. But apparently, in the eyes of a Maine Mendoza, it clearly wasn’t how it was perceived by her fans. And she also took the opportunity to call out her bashers and overly obsessed followers who are bashing her family, friends, and even her co-workers. We can also recall the time when Maine deactivated her twitter account after rumored relationship with co-worker and friend, Sef Cadayona—which was extremely disapproved by her puppeteers, or a.k.a. her “fans”.

Maine also said that she soon plans to quit show business already and her family is willing to pay the remaining amount to be left with the contracts she had signed in for the upcoming years
