Nothing could ever be as painful as losing a loved one, especially now that the holidays are coming. Instead of a warm homecoming welcome, this Filipino seaman was met with the terrible news of his family’s murder. Marlon Gamos will be spending the holidays alone after his wife and daughter were murdered in cold blood.

Marlon Gamos works as a seaman offshore. Earlier this week, his entire family was discovered lifeless inside their house in Barangay Navarro General Trias City, Cavite on December 12th. Relatives noticed the absence of his wife Ruby Gamos and daughter Shaniah Nicole, so they went to their house to take a look.

The relatives were not expecting the horrors that would come before their eyes. Upon searching the house, they saw the lifeless mother and her daughter lying on their bed. The cause of death is not yet determined because there are no visible injuries on the victims’ bodies.

Upon hearing the news of his family’s murder, the Filipino seaman immediately boarded a plane back to his hometown. This should’ve been a warm reunion for the family, but Marlon only got to see his wife and daughter’s remains at the morgue.

The only remaining living family member of the household was their dog, who was locked up in a cage outside their home. Upon arriving, the Filipino seaman couldn’t help but cry his heart out in front of his dog’s cage. It was possible that the dog was the only voiceless witness of his family’s horrific murder.

The heartbreaking scene was caught on cam by a netizen who shared it on Facebook. Many people who saw the video cried justice for Marlon’s family. Hopefully, this video can be instrumental to achieve justice for the Gamos’ family murder.
