Veteran actor Robin Padilla and his brother Rommel recently signed on as endorsers of a food supplement for men that enhances one’s drive while doing the deed. That’s because the Padilla brothers are known to be quite the ladies’ men, even if both are not as young as they were back in the day.

During the press conference for said food supplement, the two men, who aged like fine wine, doled out tips on how to make women happy between the sheets. Likewise, they also fielded questions about their personal lives. According to the Philstar report, one dared to ask Robin Padillaif he would give the supplement to his daughter Kylie’s partner, Aljur Abrenica.

The “Pilipinas Got Talent” judge reportedly kept it together and tersely replied, “Kasal muna.” After the question-and-answer segment was over, the actor admitted that he wanted to punch the reporter for asking such a sensitive question because it has been a while since he took a swing at someone. Moreover, it’s a good thing that the correspondent is a woman so he was able to rein in the urge.

Robin Padilla has always been vocal about his displeasure over Aljur after the latter impregnated Kylie without getting married first. In a previous TNP report, the former action star reiterated his oft-used narrative:

“Wala naman akong ano sa kanya. Ako ay tatay. Ang lahat ng tatay ay gusto ay pakasalan ang anak. ‘Pag napakasalan na niya ‘yung anak ko edi wala na kaming issue. One plus one lang iyon. Kailangan niya bang pag-isipan pa kung ano ang problema namin?”

Despite the rift, Aljur remains hopeful that he and his future father-in-law will patch things up soon. After all, his son Alas Joaquin already met Lolo Robin during the first birthday party of Robin’s daughter Isabella.

Speaking to entertainment website PUSH, the “Asintado” star revealed that he’s open to marrying Kylie in the future, if not soon. He said:

“Kasalan, nasa proseso pa pinag-uusapan namin. Basta anything na makakabuti sa anak ko yun ang goal namin.”

Hopefully, Robin Padilla and Aljur’s relationship will turn for the better, as the latter remained hopeful for their reconciliation.
